The Junior Galway Film Fleadh invites submissions from filmmakers aged between 12 – 14 and 15 – 18 years, for inclusion in our our Future Filmmakers programme. Submissions are closed for 2019 but keep an eye out for 2020! 

Conditions of entry

1. Entry is free
2. There are two competitive strands:
   • Filmmakers aged 11 – 14
   • Filmmaker aged 15 – 18
3. All genre of film is accepted i.e. Drama, Thriller, Documentary, Animation, Horror, Sci-fi, Action, Comedy, Musical or any combination thereof
4. Films must have been made since December 2017
5. Films can be no longer than 12 mins
6. Submit the highest quality version of your film available
   • Minimum HD resolution, 4K also accepted
   • Mono, stereo or 5.1 sound
   • Format: Apple ProRes preferred, MP4 at 2000mbit/s preferred if using H264/5
7. Submissions must be made complete with at least one still from the film (300dpi or over with a minimum 2000 pixel longest side), synopsis and film file uploaded to the form
8. No physical submissions are accepted
9. Entry is open until Thursday October 10^th at 5p.m.

Prizes include:

€250 cash, guaranteed spots on our Film Fleadh TV training course (must be over 18 in July 2020) and a week long film camp from the Galway Film Centre.
