Working part-time in an undertakers, and listening repeatedly to Kurt Cobain, 15 year old Charleen focuses on the darker side of life. Her mother think she’s depressed but all she wants is some peace, so one day, feeling especially melodramatic and rebellious, she decides to pull the plug on her life. Luckily, she fails. Waking up in the hospital, she realises that she can change her life for the better. With sharp dialogue and terrific performances, this is a comedy that deals with teen suicide. Through its highly engaging character, it explores issues of growing up, falling in love and finding meaning in life even if things rarely turns out the way we expected!
